Martin Gordon Andersen brings extensive experience from the energy sector and a strong commercial background, with a proven track record in strategic sales, leadership and business growth. He takes on the role of CEO with a clear ambition to build on the strong foundation established during VisBlue's first ten years and to accelerate the scaling and market adoption of the company's pioneering flow battery technology.
Martin joins VisBlue from the position of Sales Director at EnergiData, where he played a key strategic role in the company's business development. Among his achievements, he led the onboarding of 14 new municipalities in just two years and helped secure a Børsen Gazelle Award in 2024. He previously achieved the same recognition four times while working at EnergySolution, now part of NRGi.
”VisBlue has a product with enormous potential to solve one of the key energy storage challenges of the green transition. It is also an organisation with deep technical expertise and a true pioneering spirit. I look forward to combining this technological foundation with commercial scaling, enabling us to make flow batteries an even stronger driving force in the energy landscape of the future.”

About VisBlue
We are the green battery manufacturer driving the energy transition.
We develop, manufacture, install and service flow batteries for storing energy generated from renewable sources such as solar, wind and hydropower, as well as from the electricity grid. By storing energy for later use, we help our customers, both private sector companies (B2B) and public sector organisations (B2G), balance their energy consumption in a more sustainable way from an economic, social and environmental perspective.
Our mission is driven by a clear vision of contributing to a world in balance. In practical terms, this means that through our technologies, we aim to support the responsible, efficient and flexible use of the Earth's resources. This applies both to the energy we generate and to the batteries in which that energy is stored, ensuring it is available when needed.
That is why we have chosen to specialise in vanadium redox flow (VRF) technology, a water based energy storage solution with a carbon footprint approximately one third that of many conventional battery technologies on the market. With advantages such as circularity, safety, durability and scalability, flow batteries are an ideal choice for municipalities, industrial companies, housing associations and privately owned businesses with an annual energy consumption exceeding 40,000 kWh.
