In Denmark, we already work closely with municipalities, housing associations, industrial companies, and self-governing institutions across the country.
Within the next ten years, burning coal and gas should be something we look back on as a necessity of the past. Instead, we must focus our resources on solutions such as solar and wind energy. We have the opportunity—let’s make it happen.
Battery-based energy storage is a key enabler of the green transition and can be decisive in determining whether investments in renewable energy deliver their full value. At the same time, it is essential that a battery solution is durable, safe, and reliable. That is why we have focused on developing a solution that stands out with a lifespan of more than 20 years without capacity degradation and no fire risk, thanks to our water-based technology.
The transition to an energy system based on renewable sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower is a global challenge. We help make solar energy a profitable investment by enabling our customers to store the energy they generate and use it when they need it—instead of feeding it back into the grid at a low compensation rate.
The typical owner of a solar installation uses only around 30% of the solar energy generated; the rest is fed back into the grid. With our smaller systems, owners can utilise up to 75% of their solar energy, making solar power a significantly better investment. And with a sufficiently large battery, owners can, in principle, make use of all the energy they store.
