In a recent opinion piece in Børsen, VisBlue co-owner Jesper Andersen highlights that Denmark has both the ambition and the technologies needed to drive the green transition forward. At the same time, he points out how previous tender conditions and regulations have made it unnecessarily difficult to realize otherwise obvious green projects, including CCS, offshore wind, and solar installations on municipal buildings.

However, the article also emphasises that positive changes are now taking place. Several regulations are being adjusted, creating more flexible conditions for solutions that many stakeholders are eager to adopt. For our customers, this means that it will become easier to combine solar energy with energy storage—an approach that can make a real difference for both buildings and local communities.

At the same time, an important strategic perspective is highlighted: as the expansion of renewable energy accelerates, foreign technologies, particularly from China, continue to play a significant role in the market. This makes it increasingly relevant to consider Danish alternatives that can contribute both to green development and technological independence.
